I just received my Janome yesterday but.... Watch the needle felting machine videos on Youtube. They have a lot of advice. One thing I heard was to start slow and practice moving the base when the needle is up. I've had a little practice quilting free hand and it's the same movement. I worked on two different items and didn't break a needle. So relax and work with the machine. It will be a lot of fun. Linda

Hi, I just joined this group and also just got the babylock embellisher ( 12 needle ) I now find myself frozen in fear of using it I don't want to break a needle and I just don't know where to start I have done some hand and wet felting but this machine is all new does anyone have any ideas on starter projects or can anyone recommend any good books for beginners? My dealer does not have much help for me. Thanks so much
Sally
