Re: [Native Gardening] Carduelis tristis

Terrific picture!

A real unexpected pleasure in native gardening has been watching the birds go after the flowers and seeds: finches on the sunflowers and rudbeckia, hummingbirds in the monarda . . . .

Debi a link to these sleeves would be sew helpful!  Thanks

Just this week, Pinterest had a pin showing the sleeves of old sweaters being used as sleeves for cylindrical glass candle holders.
They were BEAUTIFUL. They looked so warm and cozy. Perfect for candles in the home on cold evenings. The example in the pin had a grouping using white, cream, beige, etc..... sweater sleeves. I'm sure other parts of sweaters could be sewn with one seam to utilize more of the sweaters.

Changes to Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service

Is this email not displaying properly?
View it in your browser.

Dear Google user,

We're getting rid of over 60 different privacy policies across Google and replacing them with one that's a lot shorter and easier to read. Our new policy covers multiple products and features, reflecting our desire to create one beautifully simple and intuitive experience across Google.

We believe this stuff matters, so please take a few minutes to read our updated Privacy Policy and Terms of Service at http://www.google.com/policies. These changes will take effect on March 1, 2012.

One policy, one Google experience
Easy to work across Google Tailored for you Easy to share and collaborate
Easy to work across Google

Our new policy reflects a single product experience that does what you need, when you want it to. Whether you're reading an email that reminds you to schedule a family get-together or finding a favorite video that you want to share, we want to ensure you can move across Gmail, Calendar, Search, YouTube, or whatever your life calls for with ease.

Tailored for you

If you're signed into Google, we can do things like suggest search queries – or tailor your search results – based on the interests you've expressed in Google+, Gmail, and YouTube. We'll better understand which version of Pink or Jaguar you're searching for and get you those results faster.

Easy to share and collaborate

When you post or create a document online, you often want others to see and contribute. By remembering the contact information of the people you want to share with, we make it easy for you to share in any Google product or service with minimal clicks and errors.

Protecting your privacy hasn't changed

Our goal is to provide you with as much transparency and choice as possible, through products like Google Dashboard and Ads Preferences Manager, alongside other tools. Our privacy principles remain unchanged. And we'll never sell your personal information or share it without your permission (other than rare circumstances like valid legal requests).

Got questions?
We've got answers.

Visit our FAQ at http://www.google.com/policies/faq to read more about the changes. (We figured our users might have a question or twenty-two.)

Notice of Change

March 1, 2012 is when the new Privacy Policy and Terms will come into effect. If you choose to keep using Google once the change occurs, you will be doing so under the new Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

Please do not reply to this email. Mail sent to this address cannot be answered. Also, never enter your Google Account password after following a link in an email or chat to an untrusted site. Instead, go directly to the site, such as mail.google.com or www.google.com/accounts. Google will never email you to ask for your password or other sensitive information.

Re: [machine_needle_felting] Re: History and Development of Quilting Arts in America

There is a notice that you have to be running Quicktime 7.  If your computer asks if you some message about MIMEs, you can say "no" and it will still run.  I couldn't get in the other day, but did today, so I hope you will have luck now, too.

I know that Quick Time can be tricky. I am out of the country right now and will not be able to access my email so I can't help you now. Maybe someone on the list can help. Thank you so much for your interest.

[NicolesPESflowers] AD: Spring Blocks are Done Easter Designs and more last of Valentine Bonnets

Lots of goodies for you today.

These have turned out to be prettier than I could have imagined and so much fun to sew out, as long as you follow your color layer sheet.
I have moved the Spring Quilt Blocks to their own page as there were going to be just too many for the page they were on. These are so pretty and make you feel like spring. The quilt designs come in 5x5, 6x6, 7x7 and 8x8 and you get them all. The designs come in 4x4, 5x5, 6x6, 7x7 and 8x8, so you could design your own quilt block if you want or make coasters etc. out of them. For anyone who orders the full set they will also get a set of redwork designs when I get them done. Right now I have all 12 blocks done and will be posting all pictures later today. I will be leaving at reduced price until the end of next week so that people on fixed income like me can get them too. You can see all the completed blocks on the web site and on the Home page of the yahoo group later today. One thing more. This quite a large set, so if you would like the designs on a CD, I would be more than happy to do that for no extra charge, just let me know with a note in the Note to Seller box, or click on the paypal box that says full set shipped.

Added to the site today are the last 2 valentine Bonnets for you to find.
1. Easter Egg Bowl and Doily for 4x4
2. Large Easter Basket for 4x4
3. Easter Egg Sunbonnets for 4x4
4. FSL Easter Egg Holders, Bowl and Doily in 4x4, 5x5, 6x6 and 7x7
5. Endless Lace Easter Eggs for the endless hoop
6. Lop Eared Bunny Basket in 4x4, 5x7, 6x10 8x10 and 8x14
(I made these for my 2 little nieces and they just adored them. No one had one like them.)
7. Bunny Love Embroidery Designs in 4x4, 5x7 and 6x10. All of these can be found by clicking on Holidays and then Easter.

All can be seen here
