I've had a 7 needles babylock Embellisher for about 18 months. I got about 10 mionutes of instruction at the dealers and went home to learn. This is not rocket science. Just get a couple of pieces of craft felt or something and start playing. The machine won't hold anything (no presser foot) so you control the movement of the fabvric. Just slid it around as the needles jump up and down. the machine does the reast. Have fun!

Subject: Re: [machine_needle_felting] # OF NEEDLES YOU USE
| I just received my Janome yesterday but.... Watch the needle felting machine videos on Youtube. They have a lot of advice. One thing I heard was to start slow and practice moving the base when the needle is up. I've had a little practice quilting free hand and it's the same movement. I worked on two different items and didn't break a needle. So relax and work with the machine. It will be a lot of fun. Linda --- On Wed, 2/16/11, Sally Byron <sdbyron250@yahoo.com> wrote:
