I have uploaded a photo of the finished piece called, "Cape Cod House". I used upholstery fabric for the borders because they seemed to fit better with the textural quality of needle felting, than quilting fabric, which I have a lot of. It was difficult to get the bulky layers under the Walking Foot but I was able to do it. I am giving this one away as a gift, so I though I might try it again in a larger format using some new techniques, like adding burrs and nepps to the foliage.
