I'll wait as you suggest and then try to find Alan. I heard fro a friend that they're good fried in butter. Just getting into this mushroom business. Had an experience decades ago when a supervisor picked up a puffball one of the workers brought in and we were astounded when he broke off a piece and munched away. We thought for sure he'd be flippin' on the floor within the hour! I'm now a believer in puffballs! I have also found a few morels around the area. They will suddenly appear in the most strange places! Rarely the same place twice. And just last year I found how tasty they were!
