hi marilyn... sounds exciting.
...hmm what about a challenge.... ? i would like ot ggive it a try ...but sometimes it is better when there is som ekind of.... challenge..in it... and see wwhat someone else have done...
I have plans to try using the solvy with adhesive or the paper type water soluable stabilizer and wash away spray adhesive. The idea being that the fibers (wool, silk, what ever) woould stick in place. Had given some thought to toping it with silk or cotton gauze as well. Then sewing over it with silk thread. I was thinking then to do some rolling to felt the wool, melting the stabilizer.
Hoping this would shorten the amount of hand work/rolling that nuno felt takes.
I have the attatchment for the Brother 1500 but as this machine is also my main sewing machine I haven't wanted to change it over.
