Re: [Native Gardening] Herbicides in the environment

How about you stop the name calling?  Anything that is done to an organism that modifies its genetic materials is genetic modification. The resulting organism is a genetically modified organism(GMO). It is a continuum that starts with random genetic mutations, up through hybridization and progresses all the way up to and including doing scary stuff like putting mouse genes in carrrots.

Wow

In spite of the studies, suits and court cases that you obviously ignored and still have not read or wanted to know about. You guys are hard-line convinced that something that kills plants will not kill plants and animals in the water.

Which was the same behavior that people showed around DDT before it was banned.

You know, if you read anything I wrote, that I do not disagree that Ag runoffs, which include both fertilizers, pesticides AND "Rodeo", tons of each, are a primary cause of the dead zones, allong with home use of these products.

If you think that GMOs and hybridization are the same thing or even remotely similar, you are scarily science-illiterate and have swallowed a dangerous bill of goods.

Yours, Pego
