Personally I would not use an attatchment on my Bernina... Too much lint build up.. I have a Babylock Embellisher Machine and I LOVE it..
Hey ladies here is a great tip I saw online..
Use a small piece of "" NEVER DULL....MAGIC WADDING POLISH "" on top of a piece of cloth and punch away..... This will sharpen your needles....It really works.
It looks like heavy batting which is empregnated with something...
I bought it at my Canadian Tire Store and the price..$9.99 quite a large container... it is also used for polishing all types of metals and also removes rust and corrosion.. Also removes rust and tar from car and motorcycle chrome.... so it has lots of uses.
I imagine it would be available in any hardware store in the USA.
Anyway I think it will extend the life of the needles since they are expensive to replace.
