I, too, have the Brother 1300 - the one that came before the 1500 and bought the Feltscaper on ebay. Then I let it sit unopened for two years until I got up enough nerve to figure out how to use it....and the rest is history. The lint seems to be not a problem because I also used this machine for hours and hours of machine quilting and it never choked on lint. I now have the Babylock Embellisher and I have already asked my dealer if it is possible for them to make a larger one with, say, 36 needles? Wouldn't that be great?

There is a completely separate compartment that you change out so the lint doesn't interfere at all and it can be emptied out.
