My girlfriend and I just harvested
our 100'th cucumber (approx 63 lbs
in total) from a tiny backyard
garden and 2 packages of seeds.
The largest one was 1.5 lbs.
We've given more than half away but
her relatives also have gardens
and everyone is now tired of cucumbers.
Anyway .... I just tried putting them into
a blender and using them as an ingredient
for my smoothies and it tasted the same
as it usually does without the cucumbers.
I just added a couple of extra strawberries
and an extra half of carrot and that seemed
to offset the cucumber.
If not for the specks of green skin you
wouldn't know it was in there.
I hate wasting veggies and I thought someone
else might be able to use this idea.
