I did figure out how to get it off. I used a hot iron on the interfacing, some then pealed right off, others, I used a dull knife and scrapped it a bit to get it started, and then iron, peel. Worked wonderfully. I was wondering if it would have felted anyway, now I know. Some may not have as it seemed to have a lot of sticky too it. Thank you..
