You only need 2 tables, a stove and a small Walmart storage drawer set to store your supplies. I got some buckets from a grocery store bakery that they used for icing to dye the fibers, Other than that, some measureing cups and spoons, a canning pot and ziploc bags and you are good to go. I used to use solo cups to mix dyes in but now I use bottles but you can make up the dye colors from powder each time if you don't want to store liquid dyes. I don't think your husband could object to that, especially if you dye while he's out of town, which I used to do before I set up the basement laundry area. I only do it every few months but it saves a lot of time and money trying to find wool colors.
