[machine_needle_felting] felt content question

 

hi everyone..
today a lady gifted me with a piece of black felt which she purchased from a fabric store. it does not feel like the "hard" craft felt.. it does remind me of the hand of some wool blend coats.. is there any test i can do to determine if it does have wool? (im vision impaired so try not to play with fire)
