Hi ... Please don't take this the wrong way, but as you put in your email you want to start experimenting with your machine, well the BEST way is to do just that, is start experimenting, you will learn far more that way than seeking advice from others.
There will come a time when advice will be benificial but as a beginner, just jump in with any material and see how it turns out.
There are plenty of pictures on line to see what others are doing, try emulating thier work it might not come out the same but who cares you never know you might like it all the more, else, bin it, but in the mean time you will have learnt something, so go now and just enjoy yourself.

hi everyone.. do i need to use 100% wool batting or can i use a wool blend as a base to machine felt fibers on??? i want to start experimenting with my machine but dont know if a wool/synthecic blend will hold the fibers . i will have to purchase one or the other but want to "experiment" inexpensively..im unable to open any of the videos mentioned on the list..all i get is a white box with the ms color logo insidethanks in advance and happy holidays
