[machine_needle_felting] Stitchscapes and Fulling/Felting sweaters

 

I have some old worn out sweaters of sentimental value that I am thinking of
fulling/felting in the washing machine. Do I need to take them apart first
or can I felt them as is and then cut out as needed?

For those of you (probably the UK'ers) who have seen the Stitchscapes
book/DVD, could you give me your honest opinions about it on or off list.
Is it worth the price? Is it more inspiration or techniques/projects?
