I have just uploaded a wet felting tutorial on my blog. It describes how to finish a needle felted piece by wet felting a bit - not as much as if you were making a completely wet felted project. It closes the needle holes, blends the colors and puts a final finish of felting on the surface fibers so they don't fly up and off the surface.
