The dimensions are 16"x 20" and it is mounted on an artists frame so it can hang in my studio. I learned a lot from the exercise and am tackling more challenging images now. I want to get to the place where I can do anything with wool that can be done with paint and a lot of it depends on the type of wool being felted. I find I need long, thin, stringy wool (merino) as well as short, fluffy wool and different types of fibers to get the "painting" to work. I have been building a stash for awhile now and find I'm so glad I have collected different types.

I was studying light and color and wanted to see if wool can recreate the look of tranlucent glass, yet retain its unique texture. I am happy with the result and am now working on a Cape Cod Landscape that should be finished this week, I hope.
