full sun most of the day. it is growing next to our vegie/herb garden so lots of water. It has been blooming all summer. The plants are 2-3 feet tall. I don't remember having seen them in the wild.

| There are nearly a hundred species in the Sunflower family that I suspect your plant is from. Perhaps I can narrow it down for you if you can give me its site conditions from which you find it...sun or shade, moist, wet or dry soil ? Bloom time and height would also be helpful and do you see these in the wild or is it just on your property ? We abuse the land because we regard it as a commodity belonging to us. When we see land as a community to which we belong, we may begin to use it with love and respect.
