Frank, the only GMO's I fear are the totally man made ones...like putting fish genes in tomatoes to make them travel better. Because in nature....fish would never naturally cross with tomatoes.

Subject: Re: [Native Gardening] Herbicides in the environment
| Glyphosate is not a nutrient, what part of that equation are you having a difficult time comprehending ? Now of course you're free to believe as you wish but certain facts can not be disputed and 1 fact that all conservation organizations agree with is that restoring biodiversity can not be done without tools such as herbicides so if you choose to be one of those eco-nazis then you're part of the problem not the solution. BTW, do you drive a car ? If you do then you're contributing to a lot more pollution than the responsible use of herbicides. Perhaps this is not the right group for you either, there are organic gardening groups you might prefer more so ? And one more thing, April is a 100% correct about GMO's and they have been around for probably longer than you have been on this planet, no need to fear them as they have actually benefited society and the environment in general Frank We abuse the land because we regard it as a commodity belonging to us. When we see land as a community to which we belong, we may begin to use it with love and respect. Aldo Leopold, A Sand County Almanac --- On Mon, 4/2/12, firekeeper38 <firekeeper38@yahoo.com> wrote:
