I think you're fine as long as you realize that this group will discuss native species. A fragrant garden consisting entirely of natives would be great. One that contains exotics - probably look elsewhere for advice on that.

I feel a little perplexed, is it allowed to ask question's about planting flowers, for tips, and ask for advice about selecting the right kind of flowering plants for different kinds of gardens such as the right plants for making a "Fragrant Garden" or would it be best if I found another group for these needs.
I will have different kinds of questions regarding planting flowers, trees and shrubs.
