I recently ordered the felting attachment for my old Bernina 1080, I am very curious to see how it will work. I am equally curious to see comments to this thread, how it goes for you and the experience with this from others in the group. I do recall reading somewhere that once you convert it is best to keep it as a converted machine, I do not remember why that was said. I hope that the contrary is true, even though my Bernina is very old, it still runs like a charm. It might just be that the attachment is a pain to take off and on. I will update as soon as I try it out.

I think it's the lint. Loads of it when felting!
