Shelagh:
When I first got my 12 needle Embellisher I used to felt everything to death, no matter what. Then I learned to only felt slightly and let the wet felting really cement the wool together. When I first carded Angelina with wool I treated it no differently than any other fiber. It has withstood my abuse beautifully. However, by felting it less, more of the sparkle shows up rather than being overblended with all the other wool. So to answer your question, yes, it can take carding and felting, and no, it doesn't fall apart. I hope this helps,
Linda Hall
