One thing you can do is watch videos on YouTube. I just did a search on Janome Embellisher & lots of hits came up. You could try the other brands too, same techniques are used. I remember looking at the manufacturer web sites too last year & there were some videos that were helpful. I have the BabyLock embellisher but I checked them all out for videos.

I'm in the same boat in NYC. I've had my Janome embellisher for two years and so far all its done is collect dust. I'd love to take a class -- does anyone know of any in the New York City area?
