I’ve just joined this group have been a member of the Babylock Embellisher list for several years, it seems to have stopped accepting messages about 18 months ago? I have a Babylock Embellisher machine, the 7 needle model. I’ve been happy with this machine but haven’t used it as much as I would like. I hope this list will inspire me to try new projects.
Brenda, I’m happy with my Babylock Embellisher 7 needle machine. I have friends who have the Pfaff model and find it not as sturdy as the Babylock. They seem to break more needles than I have. I looked at the 12 needle model and felt that was more than I wanted. Originally I had the Brother attachment for felting, never used it because I got the Embellisher. After seeing the amount of lint created by felting, I would not put an attachment onto an expensive sewing machine. The stand alone felting machines sell for about the same as the attachments and I think that is the way to go.

I have a Pfaff CV sewing machine. My Pfaff dealer has a felting machine for a reasonable price, but I haven't compared its abilities to any other brand.
I'm just looking for something to have fun with. This will NOT be used for commercial purposes.
