[machine_needle_felting] new member intro

 

hi everyone..
my name is tonya from nyc. i live with my cat who stands in the doorway of my workroom looking lovingly at my fabrics,embellishments and yarns but ive trained not to enter. (i do suspect she sneaks in if i forget to close the door lol) i took a early retirement to build my fabric art greeting card business but switched to creating art dolls when a stroke left me vision impaired in 2003.

no longer able to do the fine detail hand sewing my dolls require ive had thoughts about abstract fiber art for a few years. i am a fabriholic and roving fits right in :-)

i just purchased a janome 725 and am excited about learning this new art form, sharing with others and meeting new friends.
