Sue as well as almost every Viking educator was let go by Viking after the SInger Holding Company bought Viking/Pfaff. Sue was president or vice Pres of the American division. There are a few educators still working with Viking but all are now independent so Viking pays no benefits, ie health, Workers Comp, or Social Security. COnsidering that most had been with VIking for 20 plus years and many are not "spring chickens" anymore this has been devastating. I know that one Viking person is saying this isn't so, but I know SUe, Joy Hooker, Peggy Dilbone, Connie Palmer and several other Viking former edcuators personally. Our dealer also informed us that VIking made that change.
How they expect to sell top of the line machines with no presenceat consumer shows and no educators to teach at these shows, beats me. That's one reason I am not upgrading my software (For a m"mere $1200 to upgrade!)
